Treatment: Proposal for music video.

Helloooooooooo, here goes the final few touches before filming!

Proposed title/ song: Peter and the Wolf- Talk About You
Storyline: We follow a girl in her decision to attend a gig where there is an element of romance
between her and the lead singer
Characters: a girl, lead singer, guitarist, bassist, pianist, drummer, crown, boss and girl's friend
Setting: modern day/ the present, girl and lead singer's homes. gig venue, highstreet and
  restaurant
Length: approximately 30 shots and approximately 3minutes long

Format: MiniDV

Style
Genre: indie/pop
Mood: light and romantic
Camera work/ type of shots: a mixture because of the mystery surrounding the identity of
  the girl
Length of shots/ editing: the maximum time per shot us approximately 4 seconds
Movement and action: because we are coordinating lyrics and actions there is much
movement. This also supports the genre of music.
Visual qualities: black and white, camera angles
Use of music: in coordination with lyrics and action
Handling of narrative: slight parallel in action when the girl and lead singer pass in the
street without recognition. Each character has a distinct role to play as we only have   several protagonists. There is great enigma surrounding the girl as we do not see her
face until the end of the video. The climax is at the end when the lovers meet.

Target Audience: tween, teen and young adults

Technical aspects
Production methods: We will all share filming and directing, however Liv does not wish
  to feature in the video
Equipment: camera, lights, instruments
Locations: highstreet (Hereford/ London), gig venue (possibly media room), houses (Liv
  and Rache's houses)

Resources
Times: approximately 1 week filming, 2 weeks editing
Costs: petrol to Hereford, (MacDonald's when there!!), flowers?, wine bottles?

Rationale
Why the video is worth making: The use of colour, which also emphasises the mystery
surrounding the girl. Our chosen band is releasing an album soon so we may aid
some recognition. Also, our storyline/ choice of song and characters make it
  believable.
